....You'll have to remind me about Obama telling his campaign to pull the press credentials from media outlets that have criticized him. Which campaign? Which media outlet(s)?
I don't mind listening to intelligent debates on the issues.... From Holloween '08, you may be able to find that the Washington Times, New York Post, and the Dallas Morning News had reporters kicked off the travelling campaign jet. The reason given, not enough seats on the jet. All three papers claimed it was retaliation for editorial endorsement of McCain. I hoped you asked with a genuine motivation, because while it is what it is, I can not find any court rulings or congress passed legislation to support this thought. I hope you don't view it as a waste of time. Have they been barred from press conferences since Obama has been in the White House? That would be applying the same standard to Obama that I suggested for Trump, IF he were to be elected. Fairness and balance . . .

Well, no surprise to see Larry still finding fault with the pro-gun candidate and making excuses for the anti-gun candidate. craigd gave Larry a perfect example of the Press being barred or separated from then candidate Obama in 2008. Legitimate political journalists whose employers had endorsed McCain were kept off of the campaign jet while reporters from very important media outlets such as Jet and Glamour Magazines were invited. But Larry naturally waltzes away from that and is already suggesting that members of the Press would be barred from the White House if Trump were elected. Considering how "Fair and Balanced" some of the coverage is, that might not be such a bad idea. How many times now have we all heard the lie that Trump said all Mexicans are rapists and murderers? But we got a sample of such media censorship behavior on July 4th 2015 when Anti-Gun candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign used ropes to herd and separate the Press from Her Majesty. Larry didn't complain about that either. Shades of putin, or maybe his grandmother? She doesn't do well in face to face interviews with multiple reporters who ask pressing questions. I think if pressed on multiple fronts, she gets like Rubio did during the NH debate and falls on canned phrases that have apparently been ingrained in her memory/forehead by her campaign staffers. As most politicians have learned its all about not answering a question and instead pivoting to how much worse the other candidate is. The reason Trump is doing well is he doesn't care what the topic is he will at least (normally) have his take on it.

It is so patently obvious the bias as to not even merit discussion. It is one of the main reasons why Trump does so well....

I've stayed out of this thread because it's not gun related but I'll state the following: The majority of intelligent/responsible Americans are on to the so-called "main stream news media" and take what they present with a grain of salt anymore. They also fully understand that you'll never get the factual truth out of a socialist like Clinton or Sanders no matter how direct you question them. Additionally both Republicans and real Democrats including myself are disgusted with both parties because when the Conservatives were given a majority and a mandate in Congress in the 2014 elections to reverse the unconstitutional abominations coming from the White House they proceeded to squander this opportunity. Some like the RINO McCain in my State will hopefully pay dearly for this folly come November. Jim
