I had it happen on a 7E NID Gunter welded it up and I was off to the races. Les H. may also be able to help. Foe $26 though you can't go wrong. The only question is is it harden properly.
I shot my 3E in hard rain once and the single trigger parts rusted up it has cocking indicators.
When I read the Numrich listing it didn't say it was for an NID! The NID hammer is far different from a Flues for example
