I also fail to see how you or anyone can interpret merely posting King's own exact words as an ad hominem attack. Don't you think he and Ed Good are proud of their own anti-gun rhetoric when I reproduce it exactly as they wrote it? I saved it because of all the times they've either denied it or danced away from it. Just trying to refresh their memories.
You did admit that there would be controversy when I showed up. You know me well enough to know the very predictable result of posting a thread which props up a Troll with a long history of posting his anti-gun rhetoric and support for anti-gun politicians on this gun related forum. King knows from long experience that his anti-gun, anti-NRA, anti-2nd Amendment, and anti-lead ammo statements have always generated disapproval... and not just from me. If that ain't Trolling, please tell us what it is? King has attacked me by name, but for the most part, his attacks on me and other pro-gun Conservatives has been in the third person, or non ad hominem attacks veiled in a cloak of faux civility. Do you recall when he accused me of lying when I posted a quote of him admitting that he broke Canadian law by flying into the U.S. on multiple occasions with a handgun in his airplane? Do you recall how he tried to tell us it wasn't a handgun, but rather a Savage model 24 until I found his exact quote about the handgun? Do you recall how his story then changed to him then being allowed to carry a handgun because he had a Professional Trapper's License, which still wouldn't have allowed him to cross the U.S. border legally, if that story was actually true? I like the direct approach myself. Lonesome roads nailed it with his reference to the F.A.G. or Fake Ass Gentlemen's Club. Dishonesty is not civility.
No, I don't like the guy. Not a bit. I was absolutely disgusted when I saw him make a post in Doug Woodin's (PA24) Silent Doubles memorial thread. I was disgusted because I know for a fact that Doug had totally quit posting on this website because he was sick of guys like King, nca225, Ed Good, and a few others. Doug generously shared with me his secrets for the fabulous rust bluing jobs he posted here, and swore me to secrecy because of the "Liberal Weenies" and Trolls who he did not want to have his hard won methods. I keep my word. His secrets will die with me. Doug actually contributed positive double gun knowledge here, and we all lost that because of guys like King.
There is good prominent, and there is bad prominent. Any thread which props up someone like King absolutely is incendiary garbage. Doug is not the only person who left because of him and his kind. And once again, this thread had absolutely nothing to do with double guns. Just my opinion as always.
