The'AILg - Association of Engineers, graduates of the University of Liege - was founded in 1847. Its objectives are the following: to serve its members, maintain contact between the successive promotions D'engineers, help the young people in their search for employment, disseminate information on scientific and technical activities, to support the participation in actions social and cultural.
The'AILg has a file of more than 7000 engineers, graduates of Cork; the latter is held permanently up to date. There are still 40 years here, the number of affiliates was higher than 3000 but, today, we can barely 1000 affiliates. The amount of the contributions varies between 0 and 99 € in function of the year of output; it is reduced for those who have limited incomes; it amounts on average to 70 €.
