Why do you not want an Italian or Spanish gun? Some English makers are selling these guns with their name on them: ex. Alex Martin. You're excluding the potential for a very nice gun.
Finding a vintage English gun that fits me is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Recently, I found just that. A turn of the century era Stephen Grant with a neutral stock and a length of pull just over 15 inches. Typically, I look for vintage English guns in good mechanical condition with a stock that has been altered or damaged. This lowers the price, and I don't feel guilty about altering a vintage gun. I then get them restocked to my dimensions. Ordering a bespoke gun and restocking will likely take the same amount of time. I just had a Fratelli Rizzini restocked that took just under one year and four months. However, it was worth every day I waited for it.
