King, nca and all others here ARE positively rational and sensible in comparison. Yup, I read about this somewhere. It had to do with happiness, harmony, family and some such. Who're we to judge how much more rational and sensible some things are than guns.

I don't know much but I do know there is no woman I ever met who thinks in lockstep with me. But they are mostly far better company than I am.

It is so funny to me that we argue so much here. I'm on another gun forum where, in a OT discussion about the situation of Muslim refugees in the Nordic countries and their attitudes towards women, we have one member, a NA born Muslim convert, suggesting there is nothing wrong with sex/marriage between a 22 year old man and a 12 year old girl.
King, nca and all others here ARE positively rational and sensible in comparison. Thanks James,... I think. I don't get to many compliments on this board so I'll take 'em where I can find 'em. For the record, I too think much higher of you then the fellow who converted. You're even better in comparison to a stick in the eye as well!

Visitors would say You live in Heaven. I'd say You should be here in January. Brutal. You could almost draw a straight line from there to the coast of Labrador. I thought I was a Marlborough Man, had a couple great quarter-horses from Alberta but winter-plus-age pushed me three miles west to a more benign place on a cliff in the woods overlooking the harbour where snowflakes float almost straight-down in the worst storms. Even better gunning and fishing. If you're ever coming up this way give me a shout. It's a Shangri-la.

I'm glad you're here. (King too) Excellent observation. Nothing wrong with a beat-down, just the same one over and over was the problem. It was entertaining the first time.
