Just a couple of observations as I see them. Forgive me is they are a little all over the map.....
Americans have a right to their opinions and beliefs. This includes politics and religion. One of the big problems with the left right now, is the fact that they have truly gone off the rails and are trying to silence all who do not agree with them. Political correctness is no longer a joke. It is destroying our right to free speech. We have always had left-wing lunatics in our midst. The problem is, they have never had this much power and control before.
I agree very little with what Bernie Sanders has to say. But I must admit, his campaign has been a breath of fresh air, and I wish he really had a chance to stop Hillary. We should honor the fact that all are heard. Agree with them or not. Even though he is an un-apologetic socialist, at least he doesn't try to destroy or shame the opposition with endless labels like Clinton and her cronies do. The best salesman believe in their product. Right or wrong, Bernie believes in what he is trying to sell.
Second, a man receives his name from his parents. I share the same as my Father, whose first name came from his Uncle who died far too young. There is nothing wrong with being proud of it.
I have never met the main players in this discussion. I would not know them if I saw them on the street. What makes our country what it is, is the fact that we can agree to disagree in a civil manner. Sadly, this is rapidly disappearing.
The only thing I will say that may be viewed as negative, is I'm not sure someone who is not an American citizen, and does not live here really has any say, opinion or influence on what our firearms rights should or should not be. I feel the same way regarding Obama sticking his nose into the British question regarding the EU. I was also embarrassed by his usual "community organizer/agitator" speech that he gave to the group of young Britons.
Rather than writing and working to diminish our rights, perhaps time and effort should be spent worrying about Canada, who will soon be embroiled in the same crisis and problems our friends in France, Belgium, Germany and the UK are facing.
Have a great Sunday.
