Saw a reference to Rollins above, he was by last week and we discussed possibilities for next year. History has never rewarded us with two such seasons as last year back to back , and its only rival in my lifetime ,was the '87 season.
That said , a season with 60% of the birds found last year would exceed most any Bobwhite gunners dreams.

Light showers across this area this weekend are a start, Bobwhite calls are resounding across this country, and I opined to Rollins that if we just have modest to average rainfall in this nesting season (1.5"-2"/mo.) in April, May and June we will see a great chance for a better than average bird crop......and average on this ranch is pretty satisfying to me....
