Thank you! Yes, indeed, "Viuda E Hijos" means Widow and Sons, and if my memory serves me the lettering was actually an abbreviation thereof - but the exact lettering escapes my memory. I'm not sure what model number it was (or even if there WAS a model number) as the pictures were shown to me with no way to copy and I was mostly interested in getting a general feel for the piece than in memorizing the exact lettering of the stamping.
It looks like a well built piece, from what I could make out in the pics. What didn't appeal to me was an odd "firesight" type "bead" perhaps two thirds of the way up the rib (IIRC). Overunders have never been my thing, but ANY legal shotgun available for transfer here is a rarity.
I'm very curious about the brand as in the typically machista Spanish culture it is not that common for a woman to take over the manufacturing business of her husband. Something I stumbled across on a Spanish language forum said something about JJ Sarasqueta NOT being a close relative to Felix or Victor, but I'm not sure of the reliability of the source yet. Still digging for info.
