Local gun shop has one- 28" with ventilated rib, choke tubes, extractors, single trigger- Thinking casually about buying it for the once a year DU Sponsor SC shoot-not a true O/U man, nor serious about SC- as I am about shotgunning practice on barn pigeons and crows- How reliable are these low end guns? Is the single trigger mechanical or recoil operated? Are the choke tubes stainless steel-older Spanish made shotguns had reputations for poor metallurgy-how about this? Couple decades ago I bought new IGA 20ga SxS Coach Gun. When the gun was loaded safety off and rear trigger was pulled the gun went off about 30% of the time. Later I had FM short slide 9mm pistol. The slide showed much peening on the inside after about 400 rounds were fired. No more guns made in South America for me. Muchos gracias.
