Thank you gentlemen! I am quite pleased with her. One bore has a dark patch of pitting, otherwise the bores are not bad. And I normally find straight hand grips a bit awkward and prefer quarter grips. But this one comes up to my eye like she was fitted for me! And as much as I realize doubles should be judged by their quality not the name on the side plates, I have desired either a Holland or a Purdey for many many years!
It also has "C.W.L. 61 Patent" in an oval shape on both sides of the water table. Any ideas as to what it stands for?
