Greetings. I have a pinfire 16 that I'm cleaning up and the sidelocks as well as trigger guard and other parts have what looks like striations, almost a damascus or laminated appearance. Some feedback as to what these are would be appreciated.
Thoughts of how best to eliminate or lessen the pitting and marks would be more than welcome as well!
Apologies for not getting the picture in the post, but considering my computer pay grade, I count as a victory just getting the link in here!
