OP SWAMPMAN Sidelock Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 106 Wisconsin	Were Remington 1900's blue or brown with star pattern damascus? The barrels on mine have a brown patina, but look in certain non-wear places as if it were once blued. It really is a nice gun. Swampman
