Is there much technical info in this book regarding the 20 bore cartridge? I'll likely buy the book but in the mean time I'm gathering as much info as I can regarding this round. Anyone own a 20 bore paradox?

I bought the book, but haven't had time to study it yet. It mentions a possible Volume Two. Is there any news about a forthcoming volume?

Steve,
There is a chapter on the 20 bore paradox. There are chapters on all the bore sizes made. Only 25 20 bores were made. The book only provides 22 based on action types (4 hammers and 18 hammerless). I don't know the technical information you are trying to find out. The short chapter has information on weight, action type, top straps (listed as all are short), all barrels 28", ejectors (most had them), sight leave ranges, cartridge loads, etc.

I concur. A great book.
Rumor has it there will be a sequel at some future date that covers other Ball & Shot guns in more detail.
I want it yesterday!

Ken, I am looking into building one and am after information regarding bore diameters, amount of constriction in the choke, rate of twist etc.
Thanks for all the input. Looks like I will be adding another of Mr. Bakers books to my collection. His are some of my favorites. Steve

Steve,
I don't see that type of technical information provided. I looked and didn't see the information located in other chapters.
