New to this site. I was surfing the web and came across this site and one of the questions or topics was do Remington 32 and Krieghoff barrels interchange. The answer is yes. You may need some fitting but for the most part it's an easy swap. If I knew how to post pics on here I would post a few of swaps I have done. Mort

Mort46,
Is the Valmet 412 also an easy swap?

Valmet is a different gun entirely.

K-80 barrels will swap out to a Rem. model 32 also. You can move barrels to all 3 guns the Rem. 32, the Krieghoff, and the K-80. Thanks for the welcome and how to post pics.

The Valmets are so uniformly made that their barrels will interchange between 412s almost universally without fitting. I shot a 32" Valmet 412 ST for several years, hard, and one of my best friends owns about six of them. His barrels will all interchange with each receiver almost perfectly. Shotguns, rifles, no matter.
I know this was not the original question, but maybe it will help someone.

Stan,
Thanks, I had been told that the Valmet 412 was a copy of the Remington but I have never had the two of them together to look at the differences. I have owned a 20ga Savage, Model 333 since 1976. It is a Valmet but I am told 412 barrels won't fit it. Any info here?

I had a Model 32 Remington without a forend. A forend from a Krieghoff , wood and ejector metal, fit easily.
