Only the real lawyers on this site should give legal advise and trying to get around gun control issues these days is thin ice territory. When I asked about shipping a gun to my brother in FL my lawyer told me to send it to his gun club which was a FFL, we looked it up. They handled all the paperwork. Does you son belong to a gun club which offers member such a service?
As to dealers who decline to sell guns to ca bidders I'm all for it. The fewer bidders the less competition I have for guns that interest me. Maybe we could convince them to exclude 48 other states so I am in the only state allowed to bid on all guns.
Wish they'd hurry up with that because money is running low and there are several guns listed I'd like to buy with no bidding competition.
