The gun has not been refinished. As others have pointed out, the metal condition is un-abused but most of the original finish appears to have worn off. Looks like a nice gun to use in the field. I would value it at 12-1500$ from what I see. It is rare at any shop to find a guy who really knows doubles. Most gun store guys know a little bit about many things but are unqualified to evaluate an old SxS.
