The CADA shows used to be legendary for having an open bar while the show was in progress. I don't ever remember a single problem due to this! Jim
That would be the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, right Jim? SRH
May God bless America and those who defend her.

No George: The did actually have an open bar at the CADA show held at Pheasant Run in Illinois. It was a great show as nothing newer than WW II was allowed making it a true collectors show. As for the sign!!! Jim

That's a clever and subtle way to keep out true believers of the Muslim faith. True believers would not enter where alcohol was served or where they could be forced to drink it to buy a gun. I bet a dead pig hanging over the door would work better...

Winter Vegas and the Greenwich show are showcases for the harmless presence of alcohol. In the "Real United States", gun clubs are pro alcohol zones. Adults will not drink and then shoot. The absence of a bar in a gun club does not preclude the presence of alcohol use. The same goes for a gun show. Greg's post has absolutely nothing to do with anything being discussed here. It's preaching. At least MC gave a pertinent reply.

I agree with the above post. They have begin recently selling beer at the Crossroads show here and I've yet to see this as a problem. I was really surprised at this because the promoter is Mormon! Alcohol and shooting guns to me is an entirely other matter and as far as I'm concerned the two should not be combined.

Yeah, so who has a different opinion? What is the point of your statement? We all know you don't drink and then shoot.

Geez: Some people on this forum need to lighten up! And apparently you've never been in the woods during Wisconsin deer season and I can assure you everyone doesn't practice this. Two of the cardinal rules of gun handling are "All guns are always loaded" and "Never point a gun at something you don't intend to shoot" Both those rules were violated at the Crossroads show last weekend resulting is an accidental shooting. So is it ok to not keep repeating these rules?
