+1 for checking the return policy...don't assume everyone has the normal & fair return for any reason thing ...read the fine print for things like "I know what I'm selling, you'd better know what your buying " etc...
That stuff is bully bullshit, that might catch you out

buying and selling is a two way street...sometimes three if a consigner is involved...

and as for gunbroker, it is a wonderful place to do bidness...however, it is not for every one...

if one does not like a sellers terms, then don buy.

and if one does not like a buyers approach, then don sell.

and if a consigners demands are unrealistic, then don do bidness.

Here's an interesting link to an old thread that appeared here in the Main Double Gun Forum on 8/15/08. The subject is about Gunbroker sales, 3 day waiting periods, feedback, etc. There is lots of name calling, ad hominum attacks, accusations, and mud slinging going on. It is just the type of thing that some dishonest people, and people with poor memories, claimed did not exist here in the past:

The title of the Thread is "BEWARE of JAMES LEGG. DANGER"

The more things change, the more they remain the same. A couple days ago, I was reading a thread posted on Shotgunworld.com about using nitro powders in Damascus barrels. Guess what? There was a lot of name calling and personal attacks being made. So much for the wild assed claims from those who say it only happens here and does not happen on other internet forums.

I guess you can't believe everything you read on the internet.

He has four negative feedbacks. Just for the fun of it i went back and read all five of them. Oldest is 2008 and that guy was a nut job. Bitching about rust on this guns and several others he bought at the same time from other dealers. Second one was 2012 and he was mad because the gun had a white bead instead of a day glow worm. Look at the pictures or ask first. Third one was 2012 and he was from CA and bitched because seller refused to ship to CA. A lot of seller did back then and still do now. It was clearly stated in his description that he would not ship to CA and the bidder did not read it or just did not care. Last guy was 2012. Might be a legit beef but he's got 4 negative feedbacks in 50 and he had two the same month along with a couple no pays. Might just be buyers remorse or maybe a real problem. If the dealer does not shoot every gun they can miss a minor or even a major issue.

So four bads and three are almost certain to be BS. One may or may not be. But if you have 2100 good then I think it should be safe.
