Dave and I served together in Afghanistan 2002-2003. He was a Sergeant First Class (E-9) in 3rd Battalion, 504th PIR, 1st Brigade, 82nd ABN at the time. I was a Captain .
I next saw him at Walter Reed Last year when I was at the Warrior Transition Unit at FT Belvoir. We talked Foxes for quite a bit at that visit. Sorry to hear his has crossed over.
