Re pricing of a redone W&S . . . The Brits are not nearly as hung up as are those who collect vintage American sxs with "original condition". Pretty much standard for Brit guns to have had barrels reblacked, stocks redone, maybe bores honed a little. As long as they're still tight and in proof, that simply indicates "good maintenance", I think, in the UK. Lots of 700's out there, so it's not like we're talking about a high grade Parker with lots of original condition. Sure, you'll lose a few $ vs a gun that's mint, but a lot of people--me included--have nothing against a gun that's been properly redone.
