One point I respectfully disagree with. One man's bemused is another's 'thoughtful'.

Recoil ,no ...but if you happen have the damn thing hanging out of the same corner of your mouth as you mount your gun on a quick flush you can get a lot of ash and embers in your face .
Ask me how I know
OK, how do you know, you Newfie you!!! Well Mr.Morin..I know because I did it ,not once but twice ,walking up on a point but the bird blew out where I didn't think he would ,as I drove up the gun - right under the pipe in my maw which in turn drove the content's of the entire bowl all over my face ....got one of the two though Brigham Black Cavendish is my blend ....too many pipes to mention ,I don't really smoke them much ,like the guns I like to just look

Do you have a favorite carver, Newf? Lots of real good ones out there now. Cant think of a Canadian off the top of my head, but there must be one or two. I'm more of a smoker than collector. I have some nice pipes but nothing superstar nice. They sure are nice to look at.
Micheal Parks. Didn't know he was Canadian. Very nice. (sorry if I'm boring anyone. Pipes and tobacco would be a good misfires topic.)

As as said before this topic is unrelated to classic firearms and very inconsiderate when one realizes that recreational smoking of cannabis is legal in very few places in the USA.

You'll have to do better than that, Jager. I'm an OODA master. Well, journeyman at least. Drew's pictures have me feeling nostalgic...
Prince Albert in a Dr. Grabow, bacon & eggs & buttery toast (heart attack, little creek!) for breakfast, 'prolly shoot skeet with the Ithaca 37 today. i.e. if I live long enough.
Kid prank calling store: Do you have Prince Albert in a can?
Clerk: Yes.
Kid: You better let him out before he suffocates!
