The value of a gun like this is changing fairly rapidly, in my observations. I bought a 20g Fulton in about 85% or more condition last fall for $500 and after checking around, I thought it was quite a good buy. I have yet to see on since for that price, let alone that condition. But I have to admit to missing out on Dick's gun.
I do think $500 seems a bit high for the condition you describe, but evidently the sellers think otherwise. Whether or not they sell at the $1000-1500 I've seen them advertised at, I can't say. But, I will say I'd not pay that much for one today.
