OP parkerfan Boxlock Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 8	Hello all! I have a Parker Gun I got from my family that I was wondering what it is and the value of if any of you could help! (I posted on gunbroker.com and a friendly poster sent me here!) Parker serial # 84269 was made in 1896 according to what I found online. It is GH grade I think? There are slight pings on the barrel that I would assume could be taken out pretty easy. All in all it seems to be in great shape. Here are some pictures, and thanks for the help/ advice/ appraisal info! Any info would be great, I don't know anything about this gun or where it sits in the Parker line! GregSY Sidelock Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,935	It's not in the Serial book so there's no quick record of what it should be. Is it a 12 gauge? It looks like a G but could be an E grade if it is a 10 gauge, etc. Overall looks like a nice gun. Not 'great' shape but nice.

Researcher Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 5,946 Likes: 144 WA/AK	Looks like a well worn, but honest, unmessed with gun. If it is a 12-gauge, it is one of the most common Parker Bros. models with over 22,000 built. If it were in 14-, 20-, or 28-gauge it would be pretty rare.

I don't have any shells with it .. I assume it is a 12-gauge .. 3. Thanks for the congrats! It doesn't look like the screws have ever been turned! I am in Los Angeles, so if anyone knows an expert around here ... 4. I won't clean it! Thanks for the advice!
