Well I went home at lunch to do a little test. I already knew that both triggers would cock (you can see them work thru the busted stock)and the safety worked I just didn't know if the firing pins were still in working order. So I primed a couple of 12ga hulls and stuck some 20ga wads in them and then went outside and did some bump testing to see if it would fire without pulling the triggers and it passed that so I then pulled the triggers, both were nice and crisp and both worked fine firing the 20ga wads out of the barrels. I started this thread to learn some history about this old double gun. Not for someone to tell everyone that its junk. I do agree with you it will take a whole lot more money to restore it than it's worth and I may or may not have it restored.
