Id gently pry the crack apart going in first with a small flat bladed screw driver and then a slightly larger one starting at the inside of the lock cavity so as not to damage the outer joining surface and then remove the pin. Next Id join the two pieces together so that Id be assured of fit and then Id glue them together with slow curing epoxy wrapping the glued joint with an old bicycle inner tube to clamp them and allow to cure overnight. If youre concerned about the integrity of your repair very carefully drill and tap a small hole, starting from in the lock cavity on the other side and into the reglued joint but not through to the surface (thats where the carefully part comes in). Finally, determine the depth of the hole youve just drilled and tapped and take an appropriately threaded SS bolt and file a notch in it that would be even with the surface when seated. Slather the SS bolt with epoxy and screw it into the hole and break it off where youve notched it. The repair should now hold indefinitely.
