I was thinking of ordering up some MagTech 12ga 2.5" Brass Shells a)for fun and b) to use up my surplus of true Black Powder and c) to learn a bit about loading brass shells.
However I got to wondering if there is a problem with the 2.5" shells in a OEM 12ga WC Scott with 2 5/8" Chamber from 1909.
I did not plan on using a plastic shot cup but a fiber wad, shot and then an overshot card. Just want to be sure the lead shot doesn't have an adverse impact on the chamber end since it will not be in a protected shot cup. Thank you!
