While I am not directly involved understand it's been proposed for the fall Southern. I have shot the running target rig that's under consideration at my home gun club. It's a lot of fun to shoot.
Set up at any place with a safe backstop. Motor is on a trailer anchor the other end to a strong upright. Pull the top line tight with the truck. You can make the target move forward and backward various speeds. Runs a good 50 yards. Real fun is to stand at a slight angle so the target appears from behind a portable barracade. Target suprises you as it pops out.
We tried several guns, Marlin 36A Lever Action will put 3 or even 4 on the target real fast. Bolt guns slower than you would expect. Double rifle two shots fastest of all.

I don't know the complete vendor list but it looks like Connecticut Shotgun, Kevin's, MacNab, and New London Arms will be there.
Back Woods Quail just could not put on the stalking, stopping, and other double rifle events this year but will try to include them in 2016.

Judy and I have decided not to make the drive over, reluctantly. We're sort of scattered about lately, but maybe just a bit of disinterest too. Hope everyone has a good time. Prolly see y'all in Sanford next Spring.
Tried your cell, Stan, sent a text also. Holler when you get off that tractor. JR

Hi John,
Sorry you're not going to make it. All indications are that they are going to have very good attendance and the weather looks to be perfect. A number of the non-shooting spouses are going to sightsee and shop in nearby Charleston, SC. It's one of the neatest cities in the country. Love to have you drop by the Carolina Vintagers tent if you change your mind. That goes for anyone else as well.

Wish I were going to be there, Bob. Could use a good dose of my Carolina shooting buddies. My best to all.

First day here at the shoot was nice. Cool weather in morning, but warning up in the afternoon. Looks like a strong turn out of shooters, definitely a lot more than opening day last year. As always, a good mix of targets. Vendors are down a bit, but still some good guns to see and some new clothing vendors are here this year. Saturday night there will be a BBQ dinner. .... Looking forward to day two.

Well, it is official. L. C. Smith team beat Team Ithaca by on1y one (1) stinkin' louzzy boyd on the American Classic Trap competition. Four Knick single barrel trap guns on one squad is a sight to behold.
Thanks for your organizational effort, Walt. It was great fun.
