Vall Sidelock Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 778 Likes: 40 Oregon	Brent, the one I have left is actually off an 1881 Marlin, but is not Marlin marked for the code letter. It gave me plenty of elevation in my 1881 in .38-55 to shoot to 150 yds, with some leftover. The rise of the two receivers (1895 and 1881) should be similar, and I think would work for your gun.
