I plan to use at least #6 shot.

Probably fine in a 12, but that's going to take a lot of space in a 20 ga hull. I bought a couple of boxes before I left for AZ and 7 was all they had at WalMart. No 20s at all in steel.

It's something I don't need to worry about for a while. I have a private land place to hunt. But it hasn't been worth hunting in a few years.

When the dolts in Sac wrote the law, they included language that allowed rollout ahead of the 7/1/18 statewide deadline. That's why all state-controlled land (like Wister and San Jacinto and the DFG fields north of Blythe) were non-tox only this past dove season. I suspect they will continue to accelerate the process.

In the 15 or so years I've hunted my friends place, I've never seen a DFG truck in there. They would have to get thru a locked gate to get there. I'll probably be ok with my little guns in there.

Chuck,

Your Ferlib is a gorgeous little gun, with exquisite engraving. And the frame sure does look tiny in your photos. Any chance you could measure the width across the breech with a dial caliper? And maybe the width of the action bar at the angle?

Thanks

For reference, I measured my 28ga Repro. It's 1.575 across the action bolsters (same location as bottom picture measurement below)

Reminds me of a Swiss watch.

As Treb says, that was a iong sales cycle.

I know Mike, these Naval Aviators (Pilots to you landlubbers) just got to have everything just right. Everything got to be perfect for them. Not to little of this not to much of that.

Chuck, as tiny a frame as a Ferlib .410 frame is, a Dickinson Arms .410 frame is even tinier.

Greg,
Let's see some pix. I heard Joe Shiozaki took a Turk SKB apart and was impressed with the innards.
