I used the internet info for AGL (different physical location than Lovell although Lovell now owns AGL) and contacted them a few months ago hoping that someone at that location could give me some info on a Grant. I was hoping they could help because in the past the folks at Francis Lovell had been about as worthless as tits on a boar hog.
Pretty much as I dreaded the AGL contact said the Grant records were over at the Lovell location. Two international phone calls and multiple E-mails later the people working at Lovell's place ultimately didn't know squat about when a certain Grant gun was made. I actually did get my info, correctly, from British Gunmakers volume one-London, by Nigel Brown.
