There should be annual awards for the best threads in each forum. I'd nominate this one in the serio/comic category.

Alternatively, a double sided slurp method can be used to adjust the color. Finishes used run from shellac to varnish and lacquer. But authentic traditional finish is a baked egg white finish.

This was all covered in the original manuscript of Shotgun Technicana, when David Trevallion and McIntosh interviewed Joe on this device. But a legal battle ensued over the division of royalties anticipated to be generated from the device, and it was struck from the book at the eleventh hour before the presses began, at the ruling of the 9th district federal court in wood vs Trevallion. Over the years, Trevallion has managed to outmaneuver wood.

You have to go through all that to get one of these???

Only if you want the DIY build/repair/refurbish notes.
You can also do an upgrade and adapt by grafting the butt-piece from a Magnum or Dove bar onto the plain-jane version previously described.

..and of course you can go directly to the factory to order a bespoke version or even the generic off-the-shelf one with the usual markup, wait and paperwork.

Ken, I have been absolutely swamped with orders! And requests for my autograph, a locket of hair, etc. Whew! Just word of mouth has spread like a firestorm coast to coast. Hope I'm not forced into hiding as I was when I invented the Internet.....such is the life of a brilliant mind.....

Now wait up just a bit there Joe. You can't take the internet away from Al gore, that's the only thing he's ever done in his life We Tennesseans are proud of. Of course even that wasn't enough for us to vote for him for President.
