Keith,
From what was posted by others earlier, it was founded in 1947 by Libero Ferraglio. But other writings state he started in the 1960s. When he died, his apprentice Ivano Tangfolio took over the business. One source stated that B.Rizzini owns them now.

In McIntosh' Best Guns, he has something brief on the company. They have a low volume and didn't have modern machinery, but had access to it thru a friend. They were running actions at night at the friend's shop. I don't know the current situation. But if B. Rizzini owns them, they could have quite a bit of machinery at their disposal.

According to McIntosh, Ferlib and Dakota Arms worked out a deal, in 1997, where Ferlib made finished actions/barrels and Dakota finished the woodwork. I don't know how long that lasted, but I was always under the impression that SIACE made the Dakota shotguns.
