I had a look at the gun in hand today. I can't get over how small the action is. I took some pix in my hand.

At 5lbs 6oz, the balance feels much more appropriately forward weighted than my 28" 28ga Repro, which is within 2oz of this gun. The Ferlib swings like a heavier gun. Not wippy at all. I think I'm really going to like this one. The chokes are .021/.013. or F/M, with tapers around 5" long and no straight section.

The barrels are moderately worn plumb colored. I assume they were plumb colored from the factory. The stock looks like it's had a rough life. Plenty of little dings. Looks like a second over-coat of a finish on the stock as well. I'll shoot it a season and see if it's a keeper. If so, the stock will get a refinish in a traditional style. The barrels will probably get a blue/black finish, as this is my preference.
