Thanks for the verification, the bolt is an M1 and it is numbered to the rifle. The barrel date is 9/26, receiver and barrel drilled and tapped for blocks. A prior owner had removed the slide for the Lyman 48 sight and fashioned an open sight on the scope block on the receiver, lucky he just ruined the block. After a little cleaning there is a lot more finish on the metal than I thought.
