Update on how it went opening day. Limited out with the RBL. It was the first time the gun was ever fired, and my first time out with it. First three shots produced 3 birds. Then let's say 42 rounds, and 15 birds. Had a great time with the new gun. Second day was with the AYA 410. Let's just say Federal and Winchester ammo has to love me. I shot pretty poorly with the 410--at 61 shells fired for a limit of birds.
The second day was not as many birds, but the birds were flying very avasive for as soon as I would pull the gun to shoulder the birds were all over the sky. Made it a lot of fun! And made you question you wing shooting abilities.
