gbehrman Sidelock Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 79 Western New York	The old Weaver V8 that I have has adjustable rings that attach to regular Weaver bases. The Balvar scopes need adjustable bases since they do not have any adjustments. The only Stith mounts I have had needed straight tubes 7/8's ". There may be other Stith mts. My old Weaver V8 has a bunch of crosshairs (range finder??) but sadly turning the power ring turns the crosshairs also. Someone probably had it apart and left something out. Optics are Ok. gbehrman
