A .718" bore - .036" of choke would equal a choke diameter of .682" or 17.32mm. Your gun does not show this marking which is why I say the markings do not indicate the amount of choke, only the word choke indicates it originally had choke. There could have been a slip-up, but under Belgian proof laws this was normally applied only if the bbl had at least .2mm (.008") of choke. Bores have likely been honed & quite possibly the choke in the right bbl reduced.

NON POUR BALLE - choked unrifled bores used 1878 - 1897
1898 - 1910 � Bore in mm (22 cm from breech) and muzzle (choke constriction) appear next to each other after �choke�
1910 � 1924 � Bore in mm is over muzzle dimension

Note this gun was proved in 1930, and I do not know the post-1924 rules.

There is something funky about the markings. The date stamp is 1930 ( nice going gloftness ).

The controller of proof does not match the date mark for his years on the job.

I would guess that at some point the gun went in for repair had to go through a second proof.

Though I could be wrong....

Now I'm not inferring that J. Lejeune had any part in it, but the concern did use the Crown over JL(last name 1st & 1st name last) so there were Liege mechanics that used the crown & they may have been older, established firms.
