If someone knew, they would have piped up, I'm sure. The people I knew who attended a gunsmithing school, Colorado School of Trades, or Pine County Tech, didn't end up in gunsmithing-one owns a very successful machine shop, the other was driving a cement truck before he died, of cancer. Both tried to make it as gunsmiths, and just found more lucrative, or, steady paychecks, somewhere else.
Carreer drift happens, and if someone who left the trade didn't stay in touch with people in the trade, you lose track of them.
