First I apologize for making an off-topic post, I just know from past experience that someone here can give me a knowledgeable answer to my question.
Ive been in Niagara Falls NY helping a friend prepare his family home for sale. While there I came across his 1960s vintage smoothbore Crossman BB gun. The guns broken and he was going to throw it out. He said I could have it and now Im wondering how I can get it back to Texas. Since Im flying back to Houston I wonder if the airlines would have a problem accepting such a lethal weapon in my checked baggage. As an alternative, I suppose I could ship it to my domicile address in Livingston Texas like I did years ago for a shotgun I purchased in Alaska. Does anyone here have any ideas?
Steve
BTW in my own defence for this OT post. I suppose you could say it is a smoothbore shotgun (one BB shot at a time)
