His Smith is in the ATA Hall of Fame, not sure about his Model 12. His son John, 6 years younger than myself, and I used to bird hunt together back in the mid to late 1970's- John was on the Army clays team, shot a 12 gauge Win 101 for clays, and a Winchester M59 12 ga. for birds-Damn fine wingshot too!!
