I like the forend shape. It looks well on a small bore gun and looks very practical. Lagopus.....

OK I really like what I am seeing and interested in seeing the 30" 410. But the question is how they will pattern.

That's a beauty. I hope you can pull the triggers. I would not buy a Turkish gun without testing the triggers in person...Geo

I was told by Dickinson that all of the gauges are on scaled frames. I hope so. I asked the salesman from Cabelas about the trigger but he had no weigh to measure.... the were fine in his opinion.... we'll see soon enough. I wish I could have gotten 30" bbls but you would have to do a custom order from Dickinson to get it. I'll have this gun with me at the Southern so anybody interested in buying one will be more than welcome to inspect it.

By "scaled frame" they might simply mean the fences are scaled to bore size on a frame that's otherwise the same width and depth as their 28 gauge version. Nothing wrong with that IMO, though not what some might assume "scaled frame" means.

Good points, Jay. A 28 ga. frame is just fine for a .410 also. Actually, Beretta's .410 Silver Pigeon series o/u's are made on 20 ga. frames and are just right.
CSMC's scaled-frame .410 Model 21 is a toy that feels like something made for an 11 year old girl. With a rich Dad. JR

Geo, If memory serves yours is a single trigger. My little Turkish 28 CZ Bobwhite has double triggers and was easily lightened by a gunsmith.

Nah, it's a double trigger. Local guy couldn't do anything with it. I'll get around to shipping it off to someone to lighten it up. Ought not have to do that though when you spend $1,600 on a gun...Geo

Mine is coming into the Nebraska store. We talked at length about it over the last several weeks, in several phone conversations, about grip configuration, chokes, triggers, etc. He was communication with AKUS, I assumed. Last time he called me he said he had one on the way, with no deposit on my part. I am under no obligation, but if the triggers are decent I will most likely keep it. If so, it will be at the Fall Southern, too.
