OP Stallones Sidelock Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 1,815 Likes: 4 Republic of Texas	I was preparing a barrel for browning yesterday and used a Scotch abrasive pad with water and detergent for initial preparation. I was amazed how much of the original finish became apparent as I cleaned. This could be a moderate restoration for barrels that have light patina and grunge on them. Pictures below.
