Stan makes a good point, Toby. The fees for the targets cover most of the shooting costs. And I believe we have to pay for our eats also. Those big tents are where most of the vendors' costs come from; they are very expensive. Plus, the range owner's profit from doing the event, which in Rick H's case, I'm sure is held to a very reasonable amount.

I doubt any of the Joe Sixpack crowd show up and shoot this event at the expense of the vendor.
