I think the hingepin shows signs of having been swelled to tighten it. I watched Walter tighten an old drilling for a customer that didn't have enough money for a correct repair. One of the things he did was swell the hinge pin by supporting one end and with a punch and heavy shop hammer,strike the other end "smartly".Another possibility would be setting a tapered pin deeper to tighten it(if pin is tapered).Also the owner of a gunshop didn't have to be a meister,if there was one on staff. As always, I could be wrong. BTW, I guess the X47 could have even been added by the owner or his agent.
