Stan - Many thanks for looking this up for me! Devault says on their web site that they are not taking orders for ribs right now, but it looks like Keen Sights could make exactly what I would need. Looks like it would cost around $200; the rib is tapered so that adds an extra charge. I have no doubt that one of his ribs would solve the problem and make the gun a good shooter. And he can make them very thin, so I don't think it would detract from the looks of the gun. It would probably look very similar to the 626 when he finished.
I can just send the barrels and he will install them for only $30. I'll call him this week.
