There is another option, if you don't mind an add on rib atop the original one. There are any number of aluminum, and plastic, ribs out there for sale that you just peel off a backing and press it in place on top of your rib, and are removable without damaging any original finish. They are made to accomplish different changes in POI. One that is tapered in thickness so that the thinner end is at the muzzle and the thicker end is at the breech would raise the POI while still letting you look "flat" down the rib. Trapshooters, and some sporting shooters, use these all the time. I had one on a Valmet 32" trap gun that I used for sporting, for a time, to make it shoot lower. They would look a little funky on a S x S, but sometimes pretty is as pretty does.
