Seems Tony G. thinks it's better for his bottom line to leave quality inspection to the buyer, apparently not much difference in cost to fix them later vs. sooner. And no need to fix something like that cracked stock if it happens to hold up ok.

They sent my 16 to their chosen local gunsmith to bend for cast off, and he shipped it to me. Bend was fine, wood finish was messed up. Also the thin Galazan pad was poorly fit, light visible between pad and butt. They quickly made it right, and they honored my request to replace the forend with one that better matched the color of the stock.
