raising the comb 3/8" is a big bend. As a rough estimate, figure that the heel needs to move in a 3:1 ratio compared to the comb. That means you need to move the heel about 1&1/8"....that is a bunch to move the heel. You may call Dennis and also ask him what other options are possible. He may be able to add some wood to the comb and hide the line so you never see it.
