For pheasant hunting I use my base grade RBL16 more than any other gun -- probably 25-30 day's per season. Well, not exactly base, had to pay a little extra for a buttplated stock instead of the bulky interchangeable pad setup. Weight's a comfortable (for me) 6 lbs. 10 oz. I expected to bend the stock for higher comb, but it came stocked higher than spec, and with a thin pad for a little more LOP fit me perfectly out of the box. My only quibble is that the left barrel bluing has thinned with wear near the breech from carrying laid back on my shoulder -- surprised me to see this already after several seasons of use.
